As this scandal has hit many other carmakers - including the Volkswagen Group's Audit, where the Stuttgarts took the diesel engines - so Porsche decided that the sports car would no longer have a diesel variant.

Oliver Blume, CEO of Porsche, said there are no diesel engines, but in the future they will focus more on gasoline and electric drive. At the same time, the current owners of Diesel-Porsche have been reassured: they will continue to serve them.
