Probably no one will be surprised if a racing driver is also a fan of cars in his civilian life. In other words, no one will be surprised if Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso owns a limited-edition vehicle.
The famous driver owns a McLaren Elva, but he doesn't drive his car enough to part with it. All of this will take place at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, within the framework of an auction.
The vehicle was built in 2022 and is a real specialty. It is in a really well-kept condition, as its racing owner drove it only 5 km.
The 815 hp, 800 Nm torque, V8 engine with automatic transmission accelerates to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and can accelerate to 200 km/h within seconds. Another special feature is that only 149 pieces of the Elva were made.
The Bonham auction house is selling the Elva bought by Alonso for $1.7 million. If everything goes well, then during the auction they can give you between 25 and 3 million dollars.
