With a 507-horsepower V8 turbo engine, air suspension and all-wheel steering, the Audi SQ7 / SQ8 pair arrives in the fall.
The newly developed petrol engine, which Audi has commissioned to move its top recreational vehicles, consumes an average of 12.0 liters per 100 kilometers. The 4.0-liter, eight-cylinder powerplant delivers 507 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque. The power is delivered to the asphalt via an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive, both models accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds and their top speed is limited to 250 km / h.
The cars have been fitted with adaptive damping and all-wheel steering, and the body tilt is controlled by an electromechanical active cornering stabilizer. An active differential distributes torque between the rear wheels.
The SQ7 comes standard with 20-inch wheels, but is also available in 21-inch; SQ8 starts at 21 and we can go up to 23. The front brake discs are 400 mm. The price of the SQ8 in Germany exceeds the magic limit of € 100,000 (€ 101,086), the SQ7 will be available at a slightly lower price (€ 93,287) from autumn.
