It was made in Poland and Mexico for thirteen years, but is now once again producing the third generation of the Fiat 500, available exclusively with a local emission-free powertrain, in its original birthplace, Mirafiori, Italy.
First introduced as a convertible and then recently in a standard metal-roofed design, the new-generation Fiat 500 sticks to the styling elements of the original 1957 model and even more faithfully follows its big predecessor than the intermediate model, the second series since 2007. .
You can find out all about the cars at the links above, but we’ll summarize the point again: 118-horsepower electric motor; 150 km / h top speed; 3.1 second acceleration to 50 km / h; 320 km WLTP-compliant range; 85 kW on-board quick charger, which can charge the battery to 85 percent in 35 minutes; normal, power save and extra power save mode.
To celebrate the new model - and of course its predecessors - Fiat has built a brand new museum, albeit only in virtual space (next year’s tangible will actually be realized by the ‘Casa 500’, but no one would go there anyway because Covid-19).
We can walk through eleven digital installations from our smartphone or desktop computer, where we can admire the new model in detail and admire three generations of 500s and their social and cultural environments, impacts and imprints.
The museum is not yet open in Hungarian, but if you speak
