The Nissan GT-R50, designed by Italdesign, produced in 50 copies, costs 710 horsepower and costs HUF 350 million.
In 1969, the GT-R version of the Nissan Skyline was released, which in 2019 celebrated its 50th birthday. For this occasion, Italdesign created the Nissan GT-R50 concept, which was such a success that it was made into a 50-piece series. Of course, as it used to be, it’s too late to go into the Nissan store and order the more than 350 million anniversary GT-Rs because they’re out of stock.
Since 2007, the Nissan GT-R has only been constantly updated and it shows. Italdesign, on the other hand, drew something very new, futuristic, on the foundations of more than 10 years. Full of lots of exciting details. His nose is very grumpy from the start, the thin LED headlights almost disappear. The roof became lower, which improved air resistance and lowered the center of gravity. It also has a small vertical guide plane.
The narrow window at the rear, the polished active wing bridging the big blackness and the big diffuser, and the huge bumps are all what a sports car should be like in 2020. Meanwhile, every traditional detail is there on it, from the nose’s GT-R logo to the circular taillights. It looks quite brilliant!
