Hyundai has revealed new details about its plug-in hybrid crossover. There will be no shortage of technology or space.
In vain, the 13.8 kWh Li-Ion Polymer battery pack, the Hyundai Tucson PHEV, which will go on sale in the spring of 2021, awaits its owners with a 558-liter boot. Of course, this is not as prestigious as the 622 liters of the basic version, but even so, there is noticeably more space in it than in the previous generation (513 liters).
This, of course, is perhaps the least important feature of the new Tucson plug-in - more than 50 kilometers of electric range (preliminary but standard data), a 265-horsepower, 350 Newton-meter powertrain, or the all-inclusive adaptive all-wheel drive.
The transmission is a six-speed automatic, there is no shift lever, just pushbuttons - but we've already seen this in the hybrid version. The on-board charger has a power of 7.2 kW, so it doesn't take long to charge the battery pack. Unfortunately, the average fuel consumption data, top speed and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h have not yet been announced by the manufacturer - the latter will certainly be noticeably better than ever before, as Tucson has never been so strong, the top speed is pretty uninteresting, and consumption for plug-in hybrids depends on the user's discipline and daily mileage anyway - we'll be happy to tell you anyway.
