The Stuttgart SUV is expected to receive the EQS powertrain.
Mercedes is expected to unveil to the public for the first time at the Munich Motor Show in early September the electric version of the G-Class, which we also thoroughly tested recently. For the time being, the Mercedes EQG will only be presented as a concept car, and we will have to wait until 2024 for the version to be sent into series production.
The exterior of the EQG is not expected to change much compared to the G-Class, it is likely to cover the grille, modify the headlights a bit, and aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels will also appear on offer.
The excellent off-road capabilities remain, and the 100 percent electric driveline comes from the EQS, which is considered the electric S-Class. The latter type is produced in a version of 333-523 hp, 568-855 Nm, and the battery capacity reaches a net 107.8 kWh.
Mercedes has recently introduced several electric fashion SUVs, just think of EQC, EQA, or the latest EQB.
