Opel Astra has been renewed

Three years after its introduction (and its glorification as the European Car of the Year), Astra was reworked thoroughly.

With the engine compartment cover, the front panel mounted in front of the radiator, the rear swing-arm with aerodynamically optimized design, the car has been streamlined; the hatchback 0,26, the coefficient of resistance of the combi 0,25 is really good - in fact, the combination is the best in the category.

This also contributes to austerity, as is the newly introduced 9-speed automatic transmission, but the new engines also play an important role.

The 1.2 and 1.4 liter, three-cylinder petrol engines deliver 110-145 hp and 195-236 Nm with 4.8-4.4 liters of average consumption; The 1.4 petrol engine is only available with seven simulated CVT transmissions. The 130 hp version of the 1.2 engine is 19 percent (!) More economical than its predecessor!

The one and a half liter diesel engine is available with 105 or 122 horsepower.

An important novelty is the LED matrix headlamp, the front camera for pedestrians, and the first digital speedometer used by Opel. Also for the first time you can order a heated windshield for Astra.
