The Volkswagen Tiguan-sized electric novelty also appeared with two appearances.
A Chinese VW forum posted some pictures that make the latest electric Volkswagen, which will be unveiled soon, quite definitive. In addition, the type called ID.4 is seen in two slightly different looks: the Volkswagen ID.4 Crozz in pure white, while the "smooth" ID.4 X in dark gray.
The location of the images will come as no surprise in that the models will be made in China at the Volkswagen-FAW joint venture’s Chinese plant.
The ID.4 family is based on the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, a general chassis system on which almost any size electric car can be built.
Thanks to the modular platform, up to four-wheel-drive, twin-engine cars with a maximum range of 500 kilometers can be built. The base ID.4 is otherwise only single-engine, with 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque on the rear axle. The much more expensive twin-engine variant, on the other hand, already gets 302 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.
