Twenty years ago, Ford Puma was a small coupe, and in 2020 it could be a crossover.
According to the news, Ford is working hard to make a new crossover that can take the place of EcoSport in their offerings. According to Auto Express , which published photos of such a test specimen, Ford will launch a Fiesta-based leisure car in 2020.
The new Ford Puma (if it really is called) will be a competitor to Citroen C3 Aircross, Seat Arona and Dacia Duster. The novelty is expected to be manufactured at Ford's Romanian factory in Craiova. Ford is also currently manufacturing the EcoSport SUV on the European market.
The Ford Puma anno was a small coupe made by Ford in Germany, Cologne, 1997 to 2002, exclusively for the European market.
The launch of the new Puma will take place at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and its production can begin in the autumn, with the US company announcing a € 200 million investment.
Ford Europe currently employs 53,000 people on our continent and reported a loss of € 245 million in the third quarter of their current business year.
