The new VW is not coming to the EU

Today, most manufacturers are designing a global model for efficiency, so from Los Angeles to Berlin, Tokyo offers the same model to customers everywhere. The four-door sporting version of Golf and Passat is called GLI, unlike usual, but its style elements remain unchanged. On the radiator grille, the calipers and the type designation, the red color that suggests sportiness is displayed, as is the interior of the flat-bottomed steering wheel and the black leather seam. Jetta GLI gets more sporty, planted chassis and LED lights and, as an option, adaptive shock absorbers.

In the engine room, the 2-liter TSI is the usual one, and the four-cylinder turbo engine is 228 horsepower, with 350 Nm of torque. By default, it comes with a six-spoke hand transmitter, with a 7-speed double-clutch automatic for extra charge.
