The ideal of self-driving cars is not only fiction, but reality. Self-driving buses and cars are already in use. Tesla is also experimenting.
The so-called Full Self-Driving (FSD) system only works in beta mode, but it can already be used. This means that there is still room for improvement, but you are already using it regardless.
Although FSD Béta is not yet 100% functional, they are asking for serious sums of money for it. This is also why it is recommended that the driver always pay attention to the operation of the car even when sitting in a self-driving car. There is a problem when the driver becomes comfortable with the knowledge that he is sitting in a self-driving vehicle. In America, a driver was driving without the car noticing the sign, but even the driver wasn't paying enough attention, so they ended up on a stretch of road that was flooded with water. The self-driving Tesla has turned into a boat, that is, almost more like a submarine. Well, of course, the owner is now suing the company, probably not justifiably.
